Celebrating NAAPID In Ann Arbor Public Schools, we celebrate National African-American Parent Involvement Day (NAAPID). At King, this is an invitation to all parents to join our learning during the day! During our NAAPID window in the music classroom, our Kindergarten students read a book by Mary J. Blige called Mary Can! and practiced speaking things that we can do over a hip hop track to a steady beat. Celebrating Valentine's Day Some of our kiddos celebrated Valentine's Day by learning a dance that sounds like this: Heel, toe, on the line. Will you be my Valentine? Heel, toe, on the line.
