Meet Mrs. Berger
Hi, and welcome to Music with Mrs. Berger!
My name is Kristin Berger and I am an elementary music teacher in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Before teaching in Ann Arbor, I taught elementary general music and high school choir in Chelsea, Michigan, and K-8 general music and choir in Mason, Ohio. I have had amazing opportunities to live all over the world including France, Japan, and Mexico, and love learning about and experiencing new-to-me cultures. When I am not traveling, I love spending time with my husband, our two children, and our puppies.
Professional Biography:
Kristin Berger is a general music teacher at an elementary school in Ann Arbor Public Schools, in Ann Arbor Michigan. She holds degrees in Music Education (BS), Vocal Performance (BA), and Secondary Education (M.Ed) from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and has ten years’ experience teaching students in elementary and high school settings. Kristin has completed all three Orff-Schulwerk levels training and holds a special interest in involving all students in all activities, specifically using Orff instruments to do so.
